In November, our Middle School debate team accomplished a Tournament Sweep at Colina Middle School
Our Middle School debate team won 27 of 40 rounds, took the Overall Award for most wins, earned the Tournament Award for highest percentage of wins.

We were so proud to host a signing party for Elle Laur ‘20 as she committed to continuing her education and playing Division 1 golf at CSUN.
In December, three Oakwood STEAM teams participated in the NASA JPL Invention Challenge
After winning 1st place at regionals, all three teams placed fourth overall and brought home two special awards!
In January, Oakwood hosted a qualifying race in the Hydrogen Grand Prix Racing Season
Oakwood was represented by four teams—two high school and two middle school, each team including co-pilots and drivers—at the Hydrogen Grand Prix qualifier.
Both middle school and high school athletics teams accomplished big things this year
This school year, 16 high school players received All-League recognition. The 2019 Girls Volleyball team featured the All-CIFSS Player and Coach of the Year, as well as 2 All-CIFSS Players. The Boys Basketball team featured 2 All-CIFSS Players and the Boys Soccer team featured 4 All-CIFSS Players. In addition, 11 graduating athletes are going on to participate in college.
Over the past year, 5 teams advanced to the CIFSS playoffs: Girls Volleyball 2019 CIFSS Champions, Boys Basketball 2020 CIFSS Finalists, Boys Soccer 2020 CIFSS Finalists, Girls Tennis CIF Individual Finalist, Girls Golf CIF Qualifier
